Karen Chen is a national champion figure skater from the United States.
In 2005, she began skating. She has won numerous awards and honors, including two bronze medals in the CS U.S. Classic (2016 and 2017), a bronze medal in the 2015 CS Golden Spin of Zagreb, and a silver medal in the 2022 U.S. national competition.

As of 15 December 2021, the ISU Women’s singles ranking places her at the 7th position.
Karen began ice skating at the young age of 4 and competing two years later. In high school, she did homeschooling through Connections Academy. As part of the 2023 class, she enrolled in Cornell University’s School of Human Ecology with Human Biology, Health, and Society major.
At the 2017 U.S. National Championship, she set a record score of 72.85 in the short program. Likewise, she ended the 2021 World Championships in fourth place.
Her mentor, Kristi Yamaguchi, is the 1992 Olympic Champion. Likewise, Tammy Gambill is her coach.
