The show was first pitched as a series on The CW in 2019, and the network decided to pass on it.
Now, Netflix has revived the pilot order and has nabbed Kim for a leading role in the series.
Glamorous centers on “Marco Mejia (Miss Benny), a young gender non-conforming queer man whose life seems to be stuck in place until he lands a job working for legendary makeup mogul Madolyn Addison. It’s Marco’s first chance to figure out what he wants out of life, who he actually is, and what it really means for him to be queer.”
Kim‘s role of Madolyn was originally portrayed by Brooke Shields in the pilot.
If you didn’t see, Kim is appearing in Peacock’s new Queer as Folk series. It’s streaming now on the network.
