What will Blake Shelton say? Former Voice contestant and country music singer RaeLynn is engaged, the “For a Boy” singer exclusively tells Us Weekly. RaeLynn’s longtime boyfriend, Josh Davis, led her on a scavenger hunt of clues all leading to places important to the couple throughout their relationship before getting down on one knee. 

The 24-year-old popped the question at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn., on Monday, Oct. 12. 

“OMG I’m getting married!” RaeLynn gushed to Us. “My life has been so crazy with my singing career and traveling and being 21, but you can’t plan when you’re gonna meet ‘the one.’ When it’s right, you just have to go with it.” 

The couple has known each other since they were 18, around the time she was competing on Team Blake Shelton during Season 2 of The Voice in 2012.

“He makes me better at everything I do,” RaeLynn tells Us. “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him. Did that really just happen??? Time to workout really hard to look good in that white dress.”

After she was eliminated from the show in the quarterfinals, RaeLynn remained close with Shelton, 39 — appearing in the music video of his 2013 song “Boys ‘Round Here” — and his then-wife Miranda Lambert. In fact, she is currently on tour with the “Automatic” singer, 31. 

After her whirlwind proposal, RaeLynn will travel to New York City to perform on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at a special private concert presented by Pandora titled “Women of Country” alongside her labelmate and fellow Voice alum Cassadee Pope and Nashville great Martina McBride.
